ERGOCAST G2 Seating System™

The ERGOCAST G2 is probably one of the most comfortable fishing kayak chairs out there. It includes well thought out features that make everything just a bit easier and a whole lot more comfortable. Elastic bands on the seat provide an ultra convenient place to store your cutters and pliers. Not to mention the convenient pocket allows you to keep a few other tools readily available. There is a space on the back that allows you to insert additional lumbar support and a very handy storage pocket on the back of the seat that fits a tackle box like a glove. The seat can be made firmer or softer by adjusting the straps underneath. Adjustable side straps allow you to quickly adjust the angle of your backrest as you are on the water. Once you've gotten where you going you can flip the seat back to give you much more standing room. And if you have either a Catch 100 or 120 series then this seat can be raised or lowered into its Hi-Lo position.

Reviews & Questions

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't hold up I had bought one of the catch 100 premium kayaks. This seat was so comfortable under the left plastic adjustment strap bracket broke and I almost went into the water. I tied a knot in it. 2nd trip out, the right side same plastic piece broke, almost go in water again. I then made a warranty request. Well. 3 months later I finally got my new seat and it is different, although I'm not complaining because it's the new version and pretty awesome and comfortable. I did expect more out of this seat as it was awesome looking, I think they should use metal strap adjusters to prevent this from happening

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken Within One Month of Purchase The seat looks sleek and provided great comfort, for the first three outings. At one point, I had the audacity to lean back, and the straps designed to adjust recline angle tore off the bottom of the seat. I weigh a whopping 175 lbs and took great care in storing and using the seat. Still broken within the first twelve hours of use.
