need to replace a seat and seatback in one-man 10ft pelican kayak. most parts are rivited in so how to replace??

Use a drill with 3/16 bit to drill the center of the rivets. Rivet head should snap off (or be loose enough to snap off). Push pin back inside. Place new seat combo in place and insert new pop rivets enclosed. U se pop rivet tool to tighten (home depot, lowes). Break off and remaining stem. Job took less than 10 mins.

Will this work on a 130T Apex that doesn’t currently have a bottom cushion?  If not, where do I look for just a zip-on back cushion?

I need a backrest replacement for the Apex 100.  I don’t want to replace the hard plastic riveted part.  Just the cover and straps.  The straps are the problem.

Hey Wendy. Did you ever find a solution to this? I'm in the same boat (actually kayak) as you, right now! Just need a new cover and straps, and seat bottom I guess.
