What are the dimensions of the foam blocks. I need to have the blocks rest on the roof of the car (and be able to clear the crossbar - in height). The blocks I have now are roughly 8 inches wide by 4.25 inches tall by 4 inches wide. Regards

Are there any pictures of how to tie down the kayak on top of a car?
