Please tell what the difference is between the Pelican Maxim 100x kayak versus the 10 foot Pelican Trail Blazer. Same weight and length, but Maxim is about $100. more. How do they differ? thank you

I have used this kayak( Maxim 100X) once and I felt it was very unstable and would tip easily compared to my wife's kayak (perception). Any suggestions to help make it more stable.
