Reviews & Questions

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Beginners Board I bought this board after trying an inflatable board last summer and I am very pleased with it. As a beginner I personally found this board to be much more stable than the inflatable style which helps a lot with overall confidence. I would highly recommend this for anyone who is unsure or nervous about being able to balance on a stand up paddle board!! You can paddle sitting down or on your knees, I also tried using my kayak paddle with it which worked very well those times when I didn't feel like standing. The other benefit is that this board is very tough and can withstand being scrapped and banged around a bit!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A nightmare to carry I'm pretty sure whoever designed the handles never actually carried a paddleboard for any distance on their own. The handles on the sides are too short, so that your fingers are squished against the board. The handle in the centre is very uncomfortable, and should be curved inwards so that one can get a grip with more than just the finger tips. Don't buy one of these if you intend to do yoga, as the top deck is not completely flat (like inflatables.) If you have two people, it's obviously easier to carry with the handles on each end, though the rough edges at the seams will scratch your bare legs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it. First time paddle boarder & really like this board, it is clumsy & awkward to carry & load onto roof rack but feels stable in water. Seems a great buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable and easy I used it for the first time in the Florida Keys. Overall, a great , durable board. I was able to leave it in the water with bumper, knowing Pelican makes a great product. However the bungee strap did pop off which I have to figure out how to fix.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Display at the same price as new It was a display and in bad shape lot of road rash on it and very dirty order on line and I think the store should try harder to present a product to its loyal customer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Aggravating. No screws included to attach the fin. Have to order parts that were missing.

How do I attach an ankle leash to the flow 106. Info says if you drill holes the warranty is void.

Asked by: Dianne
Some of the boards have preinstalled eyelets. If you do not have these eyelets, you will need to drill the holes and this may void the warranty in that specific area.

I'm interested in purchasing the Flow Paddle board, but I live in the Northern region where winter temperatures are usually negative 10-40 degrees. Would this paddle board have to be stored in doors or can be stored outdoors?

Asked by: Cody
It is preferred to store inside because being exposed to drastic temperatures like these for long periods of time can damage your board.
