Since 1968, Pelican International has been a leader in making boating more accessible and affordable for everyone.

Our specialty has been twin sheet thermoforming, where we fuse HDPE decks and hulls together so they become one piece. This technique translates into extremely durable boats that last for years and years. Throughout its history, Pelican developed exclusive technologies such as RAM-XTM, RAM-XTMR and RAMXCELTM that have become the benchmarks of quality in the industry for their impact resistance, their ability to regain their initial shapes after violent impacts and their UV-protected exterior finish.
2003 saw Pelican taking it's expertise in durable and affordable products to kids snow sleds and utility sleds. Kiddie pools and sandboxes soon followed.
With thousands of outdoor enthusiasts already enjoying our easy-to-use products, we launched a line of crafts for more experienced boaters in 2007. Our Elite Series boats feature added durability, performance and features for watersports enthusiasts who want more.
Today, in our 40th year, we offer nearly a hundred boats - kayaks, canoes, pedal boats and fishing boats - plus an array of winter toys, kiddie pools and sandboxes. Since our products are designed to help people get the most from the outdoors, we are good stewards of the environment. We recycle 99.5% of the excess material in our manufacturing process to make new products, and the ducts redirect the heated air from our molding ovens to heat the production facility in winter.
With so much innovation and fun in our first 40 years, we can't wait to see where the next 40 years will take us!
